ONE DAY


One day
I believe
that I will come out on top.

Exhausting days,
sleepless nights.
I go to war with my mind,
we have been through so many fights.

My life is dark
I wonder who turned out the lights?

My feelings have turned cold,
I have nothing left to give.
Do you know how hard it is to get up every morning
when you do not want to live?

I live through each day not knowing
what is fake and what is real,
the only thing I know for sure,

one day

I will

prevail.
