FEELINGS FELT FOR A FRIEND


We haven’t seen each other for a while,
but it’s like we were never apart.

Laughter and depression,
we told each other all about it.
Every word that came out of your mouth,
I had no reason to ever doubt it.

I appreciate you never trying
to ever ruin my name.
If you were ever in trouble
I would not even hesitate to take the blame.

I have never met anyone
as true, these words are written
only for you.

Hopefully, our time in the future
will be as pleasant as the past.
If our relationship were to ever to break,
they would have to put my heart
in a life long cast. I will try my hardest
to make our friendship last.
