DIFFERENT AS CAN BE BY JASEN SOUSA
DIFFERENT AS CAN BE
Sometimes I feel
I am the most different thing around.
Others who believe to be so high up
have no choice, but to look down.
Down on my appearance,
down on my ways,
living like an outcast
is how I live my days.
In certain crowds
I am just not allowed to exist,
not because I am not normal,
but because I am gifted, I insist.
My mind operates
like tires on the highway.
Everyone else gets what they want,
but I can never have it my way.
So I have to think harder
of ways to achieve my success.
Why do I dream like this?
I will never confess.
People can keep looking
at only what they see,
there might be more of you,
but there is only one of me,
I will always be seen
different as can be.
