DEAR DARLENE BY JASEN SOUSA
DEAR DARLENE
If mothers were given names
as royalty, you would be the queen.
Still gave me nothing, but love
on those days I decided to be mean.
I appreciate to the fullest
all you have done,
what you have helped me become.
You have molded me
to be a good man,
did I ever say thank you,
for being my number one fan?
Grateful for lessons
you tried to teach,
might not of thought so then,
but I listened to every sermon
you tried to preach.
My mother,
there will never be another.
With all my heart,
I love you like no other.
