Letter to Someone Who is thinking about taking Their Life By Jasen Sousa
Letter to Someone Who is thinking about taking Their Life
Dear Friend,
The sun shines during the day
and the moon glows during the night,
during these times you feel
something just isn’t right.
You are special
and so is your life.
There isn’t anything good in your world,
trust me, I know exactly how you feel.
You and I both wake up every morning rubbing our eyes
because the world we call ours
doesn’t seem real.
I know that’s why you cheat
and why you steal,
if love entered your body
a broken heart would magically heal.
I have to go now and I know you too
are thinking about exiting this earth
because you believe no one would shed any tears,
I want you to remember this letter
when you feel like nobody cares.
P.S.
I hope to see you soon,
I wait eagerly for your reply.
You might feel all alone, but I want you to know
if anything ever happened to you,
I am someone who would acknowledge your life,
I am someone who would cry.
