ANNOUNCEMENTS
The photoshow for the 2009 Solstice Summer Writers' Conference is now posted online at www.pmc.edu/solstice-photo-galleries.
We are now accepting applications for the winter 2010/spring semester residency of the Solstice MFA in Creative Writing Program. Our diverse and award-winning faculty members give individual attention and constructive criticism to writers of poetry, fiction (including short stories and novels), creative nonfiction, and literature for young people.
Applications are due by November 16, 2009 (not a postmark date; materials must be received by our offices before or on November 16). Applications received by October 13, 2009 will receive priority consideration.
The spring semester begins with our winter residency, January 1 to January 10, 2010.
Selected MFA classes will be available for audit during the January residency; an updated course list and registration form will be posted to our Web site this fall.

Solstice Conference Director and poet Meg Kearney’s latest book, Home By Now, is available for preorder from Amazon.com, and will be released by Four Way Books on October 15. She will be giving readings throughout the fall, beginning with a reading on Sunday, September 27 at 3 p.m. at Del Rossi’s Trattoria, RR 137, Dublin, NH. The official launch party takes place Wednesday, November 11, from 7-9 p.m. at McNally Jackson Books, 52 Prince Street, New York, NY.
