Somerville, Prepared to Get Rocked


J-Rock Publishing is hosting a block party taking place on Lexington Avenue/ Lexington Park on Saturday August 16th 2008. The event will start at 12 noon and run into the night. The event will be highlighted by live musical performances by O-RY-N and M-Dot, two of Boston’s hardest working musicians. The community building day will also feature basketball activities, free prizes and giveaways, food, local art, henna tattoos and caricatures and poetry. Save Our Somerville and The United Front Company are sponsoring the event and are instrumental to this being a positive and energy filled day.
